Collingtree Day Nursery can be found within Collingtree Church of England Primary school.
Based inside the original Victorian block of the school which is still in use today for their reception and year 1 classes.
Here we provide a professional yet fun and educational setting for children aged from 2 years old to school age.
Collingtree Village itself is a quiet village off the A45 and can be traced as far back as the Domesday Book. It has a fantastic history with a church that dates back over 900 years in the heart of the village opposite Collingtree Day Nursery.
The nursery is registered with Ofsted, although we have not yet had an inspection as we are still very new. Our partner setting in Milton Keynes' is assessed as 'Good' in all areas
The nursery offers professional childcare with a high ratio of qualified staff who organise activities to provide a stimulating environment throughout the day.
Each day is pre-planned according to age and ability providing a wide range of free and structured play designed to encourage and develop social, physical and intellectual abilities. Each child has their own individual development plan produced and this is continually monitored and updated in line with their progress.
The nursery provides a wide range of facilities including creative play, free play, structured activities and quiet periods. There is also ample provision for recreational activities to aid physical development within our shared playground which we share with the recpetion and year 1 students.
Full and part time sessional care is available.
The nursery has two qualified/part qualified members of staff who also attend regular training events, enabling each child to receive a high degree of individual attention and care.
In addition to the two staff members we have the manager who over sees the whole setting.
All staff members hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate and current DBS certificates.
